RRT_Goods_mapname.xml note:

Each Good associated with the production chains you choose to include in your scenario will require a matching <Good> object in your RRT_Goods_mapname.xml file.

RRT_Depots_mapname.xml note:

Each Source Industry you select (leftmost column above) will require a matching <Depot> object in the Annexes section of your RRT_Depots_mapname.xml file.
(The first part of this file describes the Depot/Station/Terminal models used to construct stations in Cities.)

RRT_Industries_mapname.xml note:

Each Industry associated with the production chains you choose to include in your scenario will require a matching <RRTIndustry> object in your RRT_Industries_mapname.xml file. (Applies to all Source, Primary or Secondary Industries above)

There are 30 possible Industries, including:

  • 12 Sources (Mines, Farms etc), which produce a Good with no input. (Sheep Farm produces two goods.)
  • 13 Primary Processors (Smelter, Refinery etc)
  • 2 Secondary Processors (Automobile Factory, War Factory), which both require Steel from a Steel Mill (Primary)
  • 3 Drains (Power Plant, Newspaper and Hospital), which have no output, but reward you with CASH for deliveries.
(I use the terms Source, Primary Processor, Secondary Processor and Drain to aid explanation of the industrial processes here, but there is no such distinction between <RRTIndustry> objects in the Railroads! XML files)

RRT_Traincars_mapname.xml note:

For every Good you have listed, provide an associated <TrainCar> object in your RRT_Traincars_mapname.xml file. Goods normally travel in a car with the same name as the Good, plus " Car",
(i.e. Ore travels in an "Ore Car", Gold in a "Gold Car" etc)

 Automobiles - "Auto Car"
 Cornmeal - "Corn Car"
 Beer - "Cask Car" with <szGood>Beer</szGood> attribute 
 Grapes - "Produce Car"

 Textiles - "Textile Car" (i.e. no "s")
